Vision and Story
Firestone Country Club’s rich history dates back to 1929, when tire magnate Harvey S. Firestone envisioned a private retreat for his company’s employees and business partners. The original South Course, designed by Bert Way, set the foundation for a club that would soon become synonymous with championship golf and timeless hospitality.
Building a Legacy of Champions
Through the decades, Firestone has hosted some of golf’s most prestigious tournaments, from the PGA Championship and World Golf Championships to today’s Kaulig Companies Championship. Legendary designers Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Tom Fazio helped shape the club’s three iconic layouts, earning Firestone its reputation as one of the game’s true tests of greatness.
A Tradition That Endures
Today, Firestone Country Club continues to honor its historic prestige while providing modern comfort and amenities. Members enjoy championship golf, elevated dining, premier fitness, and a welcoming community. Nearly a century after its founding, Firestone remains a place where stories are made and the spirit of the game lives on.
